Performance Evaluation Programs

MUSIC

The Performance Evaluation Program (PEP) is an AMEB(WA) service available to any person seeking an independent evaluation of their performance on an instrument or voice. This program enables a candidate to have their prepared repertoire evaluated by a professional examiner and to receive a constructive written report. It provides an independent benchmark against which to measure progress and an opportunity to perform to a receptive listener. In this respect it is suitable for all standards, grades and levels. There is a free choice of repertoire, no pass or fail, no scales, no sight reading and no aural tests.

Candidates enrol using the same procedure as for normal grade examinations choosing an appropriate week in which the chosen instrument is set to be examined. Please refer to the 2007 Schedule and Fees timetable for week numbers and closing dates.

The following pdf document sets out the requirements and fees for the Performance Evaluation Program.

If you have any further enquiries please do not hesitate to contact the office.
